Pamela Stepp Fund

For twenty years Pam Stepp created truly unique opportunities for Cornell Students, giving more than anyone could ask. She took a team with no funding, $300 of debt to the Dryden Trophy store, and a very small number of students and turned it into one of the largest and most successful programs in the nation.

Through pure force of will (and more than a little arm twisting) Pam found funding, recruited coaches, kept us trying, and inspired success. The program she built is exceptional for its competitive as well as its personal achievements, and its openness to any who would try.

It is now our turn to say thank you and to make sure that her legacy continues to thrive.

Please make a gift to the Pamela Stepp Endowment Fund and help insure that future students enjoy the same opportunities we did.

How to Make a Gift or Pledge

Gifts and pledges can easily and securely be made on-line through Cornell's Alumni web site.

Otherwise send gifts and pledges to the Development Office of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who are helping us with this effort. Again, make sure that you include a note restricting your gift to the "Pamela Stepp Endowment Fund, Fund #344927".

Description of the Endowment

The Pamela Stepp Endowment Fund will provide a permanent source of financial support for the RSL coaching position she started. The RSL is a full-time assistant coach preferrably filled by a recent graduate of the program working for one year. Pam fought for this position believing that it not only provided valuable coaching but also offered an educational experience to the person filling it and helped insure continuity within the program.

Status of the Endowment

During our first year we raised over $15,000 which is a very good start and impressed many people within the University administration. But we have much more work to do.
